Alex is a senior architect with over 15 years experience of the construction industry in Europe and Asia. He has delivered highly complex commercial and high-end residential projects for practices such as UN Studio and Candy&Candy up to a value of £65m. Upon his return to the UK he set up LUCA with his partner Shin Yu. He approaches projects holistically and has a particular interest in environmental design.

Shin is LUCA's co-founder and an exceptional practitioner, who has a talent bringing crystal clear transparency, oversight and focus to teams and projects. She completed her professional studies as best of class and was teaching at the world renowned Tongji University in Shanghai. Shin has worked with large developers and stakeholder groups on major projects and produced visionary masterplans with a focus on ecology.
